Local Council Development Areas in Alimosho

Alimosho Local Government has several Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) carved out from it, including Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA, Egbe/Idimu LCDA, Igando/Ikotun LCDA, and Mosan-Okunola LCDA. There is also an Alimosho LGA, which contains areas like Egbeda/Akowonjo, that functions alongside the separate LCDAs. 

LCDAs within Alimosho Local Government

• Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA: Located within the larger Alimosho LGA, this LCDA is a significant center of progress and development. 
  
• Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA: An area that was carved out of the original Alimosho Local Government. 
  
• Egbe/Idimu LCDA: Comprises communities like Egbe and Idimu, and has seen considerable development. 
  
• Igando/Ikotun LCDA: Another LCDA that was created from the original Alimosho Local Government. 
  
• Mosan-Okunola LCDA: Separated from Alimosho LGA on October 24, 2003, and is responsible for its own local administration. 
  

The remaining Alimosho LGA

• Alimosho Local Government (LGA): This is the original local government area and includes the urban area of Egbeda/Akowonjo.
