Translated from French it means...

"Who does not move forward, recedes".

There can be no standstill in life, only evolution or devolution.

Either one grows and advances, or one declines and fades away.

In other words...Everything Counts!

Everything we think, say and do...

Leads us in a precise direction...towards or away from our goals.

We can only move forward or backward...north or south.

There is no standing still...no staying the same.

To be stagnant is the same as to recede.

Everything we think, say and do...

Compliments or comprises.

Impresses or disappoints.

Builds up or tears down.

Turns on or turns off.

Adds or subtracts.

Nothing is neutral.

Everything, regardless of size or intent...

Has bottom-line consequences.

Therefore, everything counts.

This is the golden rule of excellence.

Adopting this rule...challenges us to sweat the small stuff.

To grow and evolve...

We must examine the smallest details and nuances...

Those which in the past may have compromised performance and even contaminated our character and reputation.

No matter how we define and measure excellence...
