• Tailors, shoemakers, or mechanics working in small shops
• Petty traders in local markets
• Barbers, food hawkers, and artisans
They are usually cash-based, survival-driven businesses that provide livelihoods for millions, in cities, towns and villages.

• Self-employment: Reduce dependency on government jobs or formal employment.
• Grassroots economic activity: Provide basic goods and services within local communities.
• Pathway to growth:  Nano and Micro businesses Serve as a stepping stone to small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) when given support.

5. Even though small, they collectively employ millions. Sustaining them helps reduce unemployment and social unrest.

Nano businesses are the smallest survival driven enterprises. Their main goal is income generation and self-employment. We are putting them on internet  to support their survival, protect livelihoods, sustain community economies, and prevent poverty escalation.

What is Mycitytown Community and Business Directory platform?
We are building an online community platform and Business directory to put Nano and  Micro Businesses in our cities and towns on Internet  thereby giving them a place to attract  more nearby local customers, share knowledge, connect, get  support and information on improving their businesses.  

Why we need your help
We all know someone with a Nano and Micro Business, whether it's a family member or friend. They represent some of the hardest working people, that often face difficult, unsupported decisions and issues on a daily-basis.  Our economy is dependant on their contribution and it's time we supported them by trying to make their lives a little easier by making it possible for them to attract more nearby local customers.
