THE CHIEFS WEARING OF BEADED CROWNS ORDER, 1977

In the exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 23 of the chief law, and by all other powers enabling in that behalf, the following order is hereby made by the executive council of Oyo State of  Nigeria after consultation with the council of Obas and chiefs of the state.

1. This order may be cited as the chiefs (wearing of Beaded crowns) order, 1977, and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of December 1976.

2. The holder for the time being of the chieftaincies specified in the second column of the schedule to this order is hereby recognized as being entitled to wear a beaded crown.
