He said, "On Friday, 30th May 2025, at exactly 12:30 hrs, the distress call was reported through telephone and Alfa Kabiru Aderibigbe to a trailer tanker accident at Ayanyan area along Ogbomoso/Ilorin express road, in Ogbomoso. "The firemen, led by PFS11 Oluwaleye, quickly deployed to the scene of the accident. On getting to the scene, we met a petrol trailer tanker with registration number MAG 20 XB (Borno), with 45,000 litres capacity of PMS, which had lost control and swerved into a nearby pit.

"We swiftly swung into action by carpeting the spillage with foam chemical compound and neutralizing the flammability from trigger ignition that might lead to a fire outbreak. "No lives were lost, and properties worth millions of naira were saved by the Fire Services Agency. CFS Awoyemi Seyi, a team of policemen, and a team of FRSC were in attendance for security and traffic control, respectively."
