FIRST BATCH OF KANO SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME DEPARTS NIGERIA TO STUDY ABROAD

IMG-20231021-WA0008.jpg

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, alongside Senator Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso, earlier today bid farewell to the first batch of 150 students out of 1,001 who received foreign scholarships to study in India. He encouraged the students to focus on their studies to justify the significant financial investment made by the Kano State Government and their parents.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf expressed his satisfaction with the entire process and recognized the contributions of all stakeholders. Senator Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso, the program's initiator, was praised for promoting human capital development.

Senator Kwankwaso urged the departing students to represent Kano, Nigeria, and the Kwankwasiyya movement positively during their time abroad and to support each other. He believed that the previous scholarship program had yielded positive results and hoped that the new foreign postgraduate scheme would continue to produce skilled professionals for the state and the nation as a whole.
