A 23-year-old man, Mr ThankGod Elufo, has stabbed himself to death behind Nwodo Estate in the Ajaji (Bonsaac) Layout area of Asaba, the Delta State capital.

PUNCH Metro gathered on Monday that the incident happened on Sunday after the deceased's elder brother asked him to dress up for an outing.

An eyewitness told our correspondent on the condition of anonymity that when the incident happened in the night, a call was put across to the vigilante chairman in the layout, Mr Okolo, who visited the scene.

He said, "The incident happened behind Nwodo Estate in Ajaji Layout. They called the vigilante chairman to inform him.
