A couple got divorced after 10 years of marriage.
They had 2 daughters aged 9 & 7.

The mum relocated to the US with them & cut them off from their dad.

18 years later, the older daughter wanted to get married.

The mother wanted her brother (the bride's uncle) to give her away At the Wedding Ceremony.
She refused!

"I want MY FATHER to give me away", she said.
The mother laughed!

"That LOSER? Who knows where he is?"

"Actually, he's in town", the daughter replied.
The mother almost fainted!

Her daughters had been in touch with their dad for 15 years!

Their mother had no idea.
The dad had been kept in the know since the daughter met the man 3 years earlier.
The dad knew when he proposed & she said yes.
The dad practically picked the wedding day when it would be convenient for him to travel.

The mum felt "betrayed"

"How could you do this to me? After all I've done for you!", she wailed.

"You have NO RIGHT to invite THAT MAN to your wedding, talk less of INSISTING he walks you down the aisle!"

"Sorry, mum- but THAT MAN is MY FATHER! He may no longer be your husband, that is not MY business!"

The mum had carried beef against her ex-husband for 18 years, using the kids as Pawns.

Unknown to her, the Pawns recognised the Authority of the KING (their father) and had reconciled with him 15 years earlier.

The woman was DEVASTATED.

"I won't come for the wedding then!"

"If you insist THAT MAN walks you down the aisle, I won't attend! I don't ever want to see THAT MAN again!"

The daughter said, "Ok, suit yourself!"

Mum started raining CURSES on her!
"Mum, why are you being unnecessarily dramatic about this? It's MY wedding, not YOURS!"

"So, you decided to take his side! You decided to side THAT MAN against me!", the mum wailed.

"There are no "sides" here mum! Whatever led to your divorce is NOT my business. I just want to get married and move on with my life! I hope my marriage doesn't end up like yours!"
